Four resources to better understand redlining

Our Program Manager of Community Spaces – Dee Dee DeVuyst – rounds up four great resources to educate yourself on redlining, one of the root causes of present day inequity within the built environment:

1. Watch the short film, Segregated by Design.

2. Visit the Undesign the Redline exhibit at the McNichols Civic Center Building.

3. Join Radian’s book club every other Wednesday from 12-1pm, where we are currently reading The Color of Law. Next session on June 12th. RSVP here.

4. Join Dee Dee at the CDPHE’s Equity Forum on July 19th, where she will be facilitating a life-sized Game of Life: Redline Edition to explore the compounded economic impact of redlining on communities of color.
