While BUILD is temporarily closed, our community of mission-driven organizations is hard at work connecting with their partners in new ways. Here’s how you can support and connect with the BUILD members during this time:
Walk2Connect has temporarily suspended all walking events across the United States and London, due to an abundance of caution for the health of their volunteers and participants. If you would like to support them during this time, consider becoming a Walk2Connect Co-op Member now and benefit from the connection-focused walking programs when those become available again. Follow @walk2connect for daily inspiration & solo walking challenges!
Jenny from Linnea Wellness is an herbalist offering herbal medicines to support your immune system during this time. 50% of proceeds will be donated to rotating local community businesses. See this flyer for available products and email jenny@linneabirth.com to place an order.
Denver Architecture Foundation is focused on championing the deep-rooted connections between architecture, education and community-building; placing the wellbeing of their community at the center of their work. It is with that in mind that they have made the difficult decision to postpone monthly programming until further notice. You can support DAF through membership, volunteerism, donations, purchasing a Guide to Denver Architecture and engaging on social media.
Claire from Resilience by Design is hosting weekly calls for women entrepreneurs (Fridays at 3:00pm) and non-profit leaders (Fridays at 11am) focused on “Calling the Collective: Resilience through COVID-19.” The goals of the call are, first, supporting each other through this unique situation and, second, combatting the loneliness of entrepreneurship and nonprofit leadership. Email Claire directly (claire@resiliencebydesign.net) to receive an invitation.
Mile High Connects is providing great resources for small businesses, housing advocates, access to healthy food, and more on its Facebook page here.
