In 2020, nonprofits were overwhelmed and under-resourced, and additionally stressed by their rent obligations (we know, because we felt it too). As we collectively continue to adapt and recover from the effects of the global pandemic, we hope to relieve some of this stress for Denver-based nonprofits.

In response, we are creating opportunities for nonprofits to have safe access to office space at BUILD, as well as the intangible benefits of community and belonging, shared resources and ideas, and opportunities to partner and collaborate.

*contingent upon a 12-month lease

We are rebuilding our community in a socially-distanced and COVID-safe way and are looking for new members to join us! We spent most of 2020 adapting to the evolving COVID-related office guidelines (social distancing, enhanced cleaning, way-finding, signage, contact tracing), while managing and sustaining a virtual community. As we dive into 2021, we have two options available at this reduced rate: 

  • Private offices for 2-4 person teams between $425-$475
  • Dedicated desks for 1-2 person teams at $197.50
  • Both options also include high-speed internet, 24-hour access, dog-friendly, unlimited conference room + phone booth use and shared kitchenette.

It is in our mission to advance social equity, and one way we do this is through mitigating displacement and offering affordable office space for community-serving organizations. We believe in the power of community in increasing the positive impact our nonprofit members have in the communities they serve. Now more than ever, we need spaces where familiar faces and new connections can exchange ideas, collaborate on projects, and support each other personally and professionally. 

FAQs for BUILD + COVID-19

How many times are you cleaning your space?

The space is professionally cleaned once a week. We also have cleaning stations conveniently placed throughout the building to allow members to clean and sanitize their workstations daily. 

Are you requiring masks to be worn?

Masks are required to be worn when moving around the space, using the common areas (kitchen, bathroom, conference room, community seating). When at your desk or in your office, you may remove your mask.

Are you tracking who is entering the building and ensuring no one enters who is sick? 

We are requiring daily check-ins via a QR code from anyone who enters the space so that we can track who is using the building. We have a system in place for notifying members if anyone who has been at BUILD starts experiencing symptoms or tests positive for COVID. Upon check-in, each person certifies that they have not experienced any symptoms over the last 7-10 days.

How are you maintaining socially distanced guidelines at BUILD? 

We have installed way-finding signage throughout the space to ensure enough space for members to move around the building and maintain 6ft distance or more at all times.
