About Radian
Radian is a nonprofit architecture and urban design organization with the mission to advance social equity in the built environment.
We envision a world where residents, especially those historically underrepresented in design and planning, have the agency, power, and resources to shape their own communities and neighborhoods.
Our work begins with a simple truth: the built environment has been shaped by policies and systems that have produced deep inequities in health, wealth, and opportunity. Radian works to confront these realities by centering community expertise, lived experience, and collaborative design processes.
Through partnerships with community leaders, local governments, and mission-aligned organizations, we facilitate planning, design, and policy initiatives that are inclusive, community-driven, and rooted in justice.

Who We Support
Radian partners with trusted community organizations and neighborhood leaders in communities that have historically been excluded from design and planning processes.
Our work supports: BIPOC communities, low-income families, immigrants and refugees, residents facing displacement, our unhoused neighbors, and community leaders working toward more equitable neighborhoods.
