In response to the 2020 Nonprofit Anti-Displacement Report, Radian developed the ReBUILD Campaign that includes the BIPOC Nonprofit Relief Scholarship offering subsidized office space for small, BIPOC-led and -serving organizations in the BUILD coworking space.
Through this scholarship program, Radian is currently funding six nonprofit organizations with offices, event space and shared amenities. Our new members include From the Heart Foundation, Juntos 2 College, Convivir Colorado, The Greater Denver Cares Movement, Asian Girls Ignite, and Homies Unidos.
These members make our space come alive with their humor, joy and desire to advance social equity; and we’re so grateful for their presence at BUILD.
In addition to our scholarship members, we continue to support our community-serving members at BUILD including The Colorado Water Trust, BLab, Colorado Village Collaborative, Denver Metro Community Impact, Nuevo Amanecer, and Radian. Although waves of COVID may continue to impact our space and members throughout the year, we are focused on rebuilding community and connection while respecting the most current health and safety guidelines. One way Radian is rebuilding community post-pandemic is hosting monthly BUILD Community Breakfasts for all BUILD members as a way to invite new and old members to come together, meet each other, and learn about synergies and connections they can use to better serve their communities. These breakfasts have been wildly successful and we are so grateful to be able to take a pause once a month to break bread with our neighbors.
