The following design proposal was created with all the information gathered in mind. Permanently affordable and supportive multi-family cohousing with shared indoor and outdoor spaces, onsite services, and some level of sustainability which include community supported agriculture, green infrastructure, and phased out parking. Mixed income units, building to the maximum density for zoning, and alternative financing schemes proportion to income made should be considered as a method of financing the project. Also suggested is allowing for home businesses on site as an alternative form of producing income as well as establishing programs that connect to the wider community such as selling produce from the CSA or engaging with the adjacent church and high school to encourage multi-generational interaction.
