That’s a wrap on our fifth year of Imagine the Possibilities! We spent the past five months collaborating with YEBO, Focus Points, It’s Me Simba, AMPED and many other local organizations. Our goal: to transform a group of fifth graders from Garden Place Academy into community advocates.

Through design and media, students developed a vision for the future of their community, produced a series of podcasts to document their experiences, and created a landscape design for the Huerta Urbana project at Focus Points. The plan includes this amazing mural, which we gifted to Focus Points. Big thanks to Joaquin Gonzales for designing this work of art and helping the students bring it to life.

We celebrated the end of our semester with an exhibit of projects, showcasing the students’ hard work and creative endeavors at Focus Points.
